Description:

KPS is a light-weight KDE wrapper for the ps command. It enables you to view, kill and renice running processes.It is possible to filter the processes displayed.

After a long break, some enhancements.

1. Columns are now manually settable to prevent huge widths
after, say, compiles.
2. Fix format for zombie processes.
3. Modernise toolbar processing.
4. Immediate update after kill/nice operations.
5. Filter field is now an editable combo-box so filters are
retained.

OK, I lied! A fix for 2.6 kernels prompted this new release.

1. ps -em with 2.6 kernels produces rubbish output
2. 'Reset' function for column sizes; useful if a strange process
really stretches them
3. Process tree view

You get much the same information without all the extra stuff I don't need in ksysguard. kps has much smaller footprint on your system.

There is a a problem with using Kdevelop which wants automake 1.6, I have seen reports on other projects. I use Gentoo which takes care of all this for me; you may want to investigate automake-wrapper.
